Delivery Driver

Pay Range: $41,600 – $47,800
$20.00 – $23.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Welder Fitter for Phillips Steel’s Fabrication Department. The Welder Fitter will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.

Responsibilities:
• Exercise utmost safety while loading, delivering and driving
• Maintain friendly and professional contact with customers, vendors and co-workers
• Load product to be delivered on truck and unload product brought back to the plant
• Verifies product delivered and picked up for accuracy comparing to sales orders, invoices, purchase orders, packing lists, etc.
• Maintain company vehicles by reporting any issues to transportation supervisor
• Complete a weekly inspection and update maintenance logs as needed
• Keep vehicle clean and free of any debris by washing vehicle daily
• Return all paperwork to transportation supervisor/office at end of work day
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Experience in loading and strapping loads on trucks
• Must be at least 22 years of age
• No reckless or careless driving citations in last 4 years
• No D.U.I. or D.W.I. in last 5 years
• Valid California Driver License
• Ability to use a Forklift
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
