Pay Range: $72,800 – $83,200
$35.00 – $40.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager for Phillips Steel’s Fabrication Department. This position will ensure the projects are completed following agreed-upon specifications including timeframe and budget.  The Estimator works directly with clients and will collaborate with different departments within the company to ensure smooth execution of the project.

Responsibilities:

• Works with new and existing customers to increase sales.
• Forecast project costs using data such as cost of raw materials, labor, tools, etc.
• Create proposals for customer review and acceptance.
• Oversees and coordinates progress of projects from start to finish.
• Communicate with all involved parties for projects.
• Create status reports to ensure plan completion according to project specifications.
• Understand the value of safety and follow all protocols.

Education/Experience:
• A degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience is preferred.
• 2 – 3 years of experience with cost-estimating and/or project management in structural steel fabrication.
• General knowledge of AISC standards and AWS codes.
• Ability to operate a forklift preferred.
